The Sainsburys bag pack is on the 18th September. from 9.00am to 3.00pm. This is a great opportunity to raise funds for new equipment used by the Juniors and to subsidise the forthcoming presentation night.
The Junior and Mums & Dads Championship table has been updated with the results from the last three Championship Races.
We are just over half way through and Hannah has the under 12 Girls Championship already sewn up with brother Sam and Dad leading their respective Championships. Is it going to be a clean sweep for the Thom Family?
The will be no Junior training on the 19th and 26th August, due to the caretaker at Greenhead School being away and having no access to the facilities.
There are a number of families camping at ‘Threaplands House Farm’ on the Cracoe Fell Race weekend 24-25th July, everyone is welcome to join them.

Now you have had time to recover from the Harden Hard’un, please can you collect and bring in your sponsor money ASAP, either give it to Wendy, Loz or Richard. Also if there are people who have not paid their £5 entry for the walk, please do not include it with the sponsor money but pass it onto Loz or Richard.
Well done!!! to everyone who walked the Harden Hard’un on Saturday. It was a tough walk and you all were outstanding. Many thanks to Steff and Loz for the post walk barbecue, it was a great end to a long day.
If any of you want to do a write up of the walk I will post them up on the WEB site.
Also there are lots of photos taken, so please send them to me or let me have them on a stick or disk and I will put them up also.

We have around 35 juniors and parents starting the walk which is a fantastic turnout.
I have put together an information sheet with all the details of where the start is, what to carry and the route description.
Having just reviewed the final details, I have left off a plastic mug. You will need one if you want a drink at the checkpoints.
Currently I have about 20 yoghurt pots I have planned the courses and I still need a further 10-15

Following the Sponsored Walk, Loz and Steff are having a BBQ and everyone is welcome.
Loz will get burgers and sausages and buns, if you want anything different bring it.
Contributions of drinks, salads, coleslaw, cakes, deserts, and drinks would be greatly appreciated, and if you are not on the list please let loz know loz.hellawell@blueyonder.co.uk that you are coming.
I need someone or people with transport who are available to collect any of the Juniors should they have to retire on the sponsored walk.
This can be shared over the day between a few people but I do need transport cover from 8:30am until 6:30pm. It will involve alot of hanging around and waiting but you will be provide a key support to the walkers.

Keighley Juniors have slipped back in the FRA Junior Club Championship.
Well done to all the juniors who took part in the Kettlewell Race, especially to holly who ran all night from Scotland and then did the race. Thanks again to all the Mums and Dads who brought them, cheered them on, and supported the rest of the juniors.
As part of a 2-Day International Seminar on ‘World-Class Delivery, Training and Inspiration in Sport’ there will be a special coaching session in Cliffe Castle at 6pm on Tuesday 29th June.

Following on from the success of last year’s Three Peaks sponsored walk. Keighley and Craven Juniors will be holding another sponsored walk this year.
