The first Junior Championship 2010 Race 24th January is the Soreen Stanbury Splash Quarry Runs on Sunday at Penistone Hill above Haworth.

The first junior race of the new year and the first Junior Championship 2010 race and also Mums and Dads Championship.

Make sure you check the rules and you run in the correct race category.

This race is run under FRA rules and the age category you should run in is your age on the 1st January 2010. If your age is the same as the category then you must run in the next category.

See the following examples.

Juniors aged 7 or younger (Min age 6) on the 1st January 2010, you should run in the under 8s.

Juniors aged between 8 or 9 on the 1st January 2010, run in the under 10s NOT the under 8s

Juniors aged between 10 or 11 on the 1st January 2010, run in the under 12s NOT the under 10s

Juniors aged between 12 or 13 on the 1st January 2010, run in the under 14s NOT the under 12s

Juniors aged between 14 or 15 on the 1st January 2010, run in the under 16s NOT the under 14s

Juniors aged between 16 or 17 on the 1st January 2010, run in the under 18s NOT the under 16s
